Area Operations Manager

About This Role

This Area Operations Manager role involves overseeing all aspects of Lenskart's operations within a designated territory, including stores and home eye tests. The manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, building and leading a high-performing team, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining a data-driven operation. It suits a leader with a strong retail or field operations background who thrives on accountability and on-the-ground leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the revenue and P&L for your territory, including stores, home eye tests and everything in between
• Hit and beat targets on sales, eye-test conversions, upselling, ATV and Reach-on-Time
• Spot white spaces in your area and help decide where Lenskart opens next
• Lead store managers, optometrists and field specialists
• Coach on the floor and in the field, not from a desk
• Turn new joiners into top performers and keep your best people growing with you
• Own the full customer journey, from the first eye test to the final delivery
• Turn upset customers into fans and make your areas NPS the one others benchmark against
• Use live dashboards, location tracking and appointment systems to run your area in real time
• Make sure every appointment is on time, every visit is tracked, and every customer gets the same Lenskart standard

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in retail, field sales or service operations, including time leading teams
• Love numbers and like being judged by them
• Coach people instead of chasing them
• Prefer being on the ground with your team over sitting in an office
• Stay calm when a customer is upset and a target is due tonight
