Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architectural Drafter role based in Oman. The Architectural Drafter will prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings from concepts, sketches, and specifications provided by architects and engineers. Responsibilities include developing and updating plans, sections, elevations, and details; ensuring drawings comply with building codes, standards, and project requirements; and coordinating with project teams to incorporate design changes and resolve technical issues. The role involves maintaining accurate drawing records, supporting quantity take-offs and documentation, and collaborating with site and planning teams to ensure constructability and clarity of drawings.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings, with the ability to produce accurate, detailed, and buildable plans.
• Foundational knowledge of Architecture and Planning principles to interpret design intent and translate concepts into technical drawings.
• Proficiency in technical Drawing, including clear drafting standards, dimensioning, and annotation.
• Experience using CAD and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar) for architectural drafting.
• Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices, preferably within Oman or the GCC region.
• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to manage multiple drawing packages under deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, and site personnel.
