Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive architectural designs utilizing CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, and Rhino 3D, ensuring precision and clarity in construction drawings and documentation
- Create detailed 3D models and renderings using tools like 3ds Max, Grasshopper 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite to visualize concepts for clients and project teams
- Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to develop accurate construction estimates, budgets, and schedules
- Prepare construction detail documentation that complies with building codes, accessibility regulations, and sustainability standards
- Conduct building code analysis and building information modeling (BIM) to ensure regulatory compliance throughout all project phases
- Assist in business development efforts by preparing proposals, presentations, and engaging in client negotiations
- Support construction management by reviewing shop drawings, overseeing site visits, and ensuring adherence to design specifications during construction
Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino 3D, SketchUp, and Grasshopper 3D for drafting and modeling
- Strong experience with construction estimating, budgeting, project scheduling, and contract management
- Skilled in creating high-quality renderings and visualizations using 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Suite, and other graphic design tools
- Deep understanding of building code compliance, accessibility regulations, sustainable design principles, and construction regulatory standards
- Excellent negotiation skills for client interactions and vendor collaborations
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with effective project management techniques
- Knowledge of construction detail documentation, renovation processes, interior design integration, and construction accessibility standards
