Architectural Designer

About This Role

This architectural designer role is with a large, established New York City firm, offering the chance to build both design ability and technical confidence. You will contribute to recognizable projects across New York, learn from experienced architects, and see how thoughtful design translates into well-built spaces.

Responsibilities

• Support projects from early design through construction
• Develop drawings, 3D models, and presentations that communicate design ideas
• Produce and coordinate construction documents in Revit
• Explore materials, architectural details, and construction solutions
• Collaborate with consultants and internal project teams, with opportunities to participate in site visits and construction coordination

Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional architecture experience
• A degree in Architecture
• Strong Revit skills and experience contributing to architectural drawing sets
• An understanding of architectural detailing, materials, and construction methods
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
• Curiosity, initiative, and an interest in developing both creatively and technically

Nice to have:

• AutoCAD proficiency
• Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite experience
