About This Role
An Arborist is needed to represent ISO-Landscape Pte. Ltd. and oversee tree care management, acting as the primary contact for clients, consultants, and authorities. This role involves supervising workers and contractors to ensure proper arboriculture management and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and implement tree care and plant health care programs
- Schedule tree maintenance programs and perform tree assessment
- Conduct tree inspection and monitor tree health, stability, and safety
- Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors on all arboriculture-related matters
- Be a lead contact point for any and all matters related to arboriculture
- Advise and attend to tree issues raised by clients and consultants
- Perform tasks after office hours and work under stress
- Carry out Visual Tree Assessment (VTA) to trees and submit required periodic VTA reports
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships and meet client satisfaction
- Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors if any
- Ensure reasonable productivity and report on work completion
- Prepare and submit tree reports
- Maintain proper documentation for the contract
- Follow company safety procedures, rules, and regulations and eliminate or reduce hazards at the workplace
- Perform any other roles assigned by the director
Requirements
- Arborist certification from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA)
- Diploma in Horticulture/Landscape Management or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Landscape Supervision or WSQ Diploma in Landscape Management (any landscape-related course)
- Strong in persuasion, service-oriented, client and people management
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive and able to take initiative
- Independent, self-motivated, and a team player
- Preferably with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in arboriculture management practice
