Position Overview Provides patient care within regulatory requirements and performs a broad range of non-patient related tasks to support the department and staff both in rehab and pool. Possible IP support to fulfill hours during low patient numbers for pool. Responsible for monitoring the safety of all pool participants and performing water rescues if necessary. May be responsible for cleaning and setting up the patient treatment area, moving patients, and performing clerical duties. Maintains pool area and monitors pool operation. Assists in training and mentoring colleagues, acts as a lead for lifeguards and other aquatic staff, and performs more complicated administrative functions, such as patient scheduling, patient check-in/out. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Maintains strong relationships with the community members and facilitates communication for any issues or concerns. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety of our patients and members.
Education Job Description :
HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE ARC - Lifeguard Certification
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
Typical Experience 2 years recent relevant experience

Pay Range is $34.43 to $48.19 / hour
