Apprentice Plumber

About This Role

This role is for an experienced plumbing apprentice to join a team dedicated to delivering excellent customer service. The apprentice performs basic plumbing tasks, assists plumbers, and provides exceptional customer service while gaining on-the-job training and shadowing opportunities. This position requires adherence to workplace procedures and health and safety guidance, with the goal of successfully completing tasks to gain further plumbing licenses and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist plumbers in completing work orders and maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Organize materials as instructed
• Unclog and clean sewers and drains for the customer under supervision
• Operate company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner for field duties
• Observe all safety requirements
• Communicate in a professional manner when in uniform

Requirements

• Valid Texas driver's license (5 years experience with clean driving record a must)
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 6 - 12 months residential service apprentice experience
• Solid interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Desire to learn and become a licensed plumber and willingness to study for an exam
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours
• Maintain well-groomed appearance and keep a clean uniform and work shoes
