Responsibilities
- Assist experienced plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems on construction sites
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing and HVAC systems
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively under supervision
- Support the assembly and installation of piping, fixtures, and mechanical components following project specifications
- Participate in remodeling, maintenance tasks, and field service activities to ensure quality workmanship
- Follow safety guidelines diligently during all construction activities to maintain a secure work environment
- Document work progress and assist with site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and standards
Requirements
- Basic understanding of construction processes and construction plumbing techniques
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machinery
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing and HVAC systems
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of pipe installation, assembly, and remodeling projects
- Strong field service orientation with experience on construction sites or in maintenance roles
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical specifications
- Knowledge of carpentry principles useful for supporting plumbing installations within structures
