Apprentice Electrician

About This Role

This entry-level position is for an Apprentice Electrician who will learn the electrical trade under the direct supervision of a licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician. The role focuses on safety, basic construction practices, tool identification, material handling, and foundational electrical installation skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
• Report to work on time and prepared each day
• Learn proper use and care of hand and power tools
• Identify common electrical materials and components
• Assist with material staging and inventory
• Pull wire and install conduit under direct supervision
• Assist with demolition and rough-in work
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Learn basic electrical theory and construction terminology
• Complete required apprenticeship training and coursework

Requirements

• May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area
• Possess knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position and a willingness to learn with a positive attitude
• Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in physically demanding environments
• Knowledge of the safe and efficient use of hand tools, power tools, and layout tools

Important Details

• Locations: nationwide opportunities based on project needs
• Project assignments: typically lasting between 4 to 10 months
• Per diem: daily per diem to assist with living expenses while on assignment
