Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues
- Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers with precision and efficiency
- Install new appliances according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete repairs and installations
- Conduct routine maintenance to prevent future breakdowns and extend appliance lifespan
- Follow electrical work, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical guidelines during service procedures
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, parts used, and customer interactions to ensure transparency and quality control
Requirements
- Proven experience (at least 3 years) with appliance repair, installation, and maintenance across diverse brands and models
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read schematics, ladder diagrams, and technical manuals accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, refrigeration systems, electrical work, plumbing components, and equipment repair techniques
- Experience operating company vehicles safely in compliance with traffic laws and safety protocols
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
- Knowledge of maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices to optimize equipment performance
- Able to lift appliances and bend down to reach appliance components when necessary
