Appliance Repair Technician

About This Role

This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining household appliances in residential homes and investment properties. It suits a reliable and experienced technician who seeks control over their schedule and workload as a 1099 contractor.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair household appliances (kitchen and laundry)
• Perform maintenance and preventative service checks
• Identify parts needed and communicate repair estimates
• Complete service calls efficiently and professionally
• Maintain clean and safe work environments in client homes
• Communicate job status, completion, and any issues promptly

Requirements

• Proven experience repairing residential appliances (refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, washers/dryers, etc.)
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Must have own tools, transportation, and valid driver’s license
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage appointments
• Must carry general liability insurance

Nice to have:

• Licensed and/or certified (EPA certification a plus)
