About This Role
This engineering role focuses on designing, developing, deploying, and integrating real-time systems using Java, Spring Boot, and other modern technologies on GCP. It suits a highly skilled and experienced software engineer who will join a dynamic team to develop and maintain solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security
- Implement and integrate with Google cloud services for infrastructure, scalability, and performance optimization
- Deploy services using CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Develop and maintain well-documented REST APIs for seamless communication between microservices and external systems
- Integrate with mobile applications and other third-party APIs
- Participate in the design and development of real-time systems for efficient data processing and responsiveness
- Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, product) to ensure project success
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code adhering to best practices
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the team
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the software development landscape
- Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases like MongoDB
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on backend development
- Proven experience with Java, Spring Boot, Database, and microservices architecture
- In-depth knowledge of GCP services (e.g., GKE, Spanner, CRF) and experience with deployment strategies
- Experience with REST APIs and API design principles
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage real-time systems
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

- Experience integrating with mobile applications and/or third-party APIs
