Acuren is currently seeking certified API 510/653 to support our operations in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Location Requirements: We are currently seeking local candidates based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. While we welcome applications from all qualified individuals, local candidates are preferred due to the nature of the role.
The API 510/653 Inspector conducts visual examinations independently and evaluates materials, welds, and components for conformity with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications. This role involves interpreting procedures, recording detailed results, and reporting findings. Level II inspectors are expected to identify discontinuities, determine acceptability within defined criteria, and assist in training Level I personnel. They demonstrate a solid understanding of inspection techniques, documentation practices, and quality assurance requirements.
Skills Requirements:
- Certification of American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/653
- 6 – 8 years’ experience or 4+ years on site experience
- Additional API 570 or CWI a plus
- In-depth working knowledge of API 510/653 and ASME standards
- Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers
- Local to Tulsa OK
