This contract role involves investigating and monitoring suspicious financial activities, ensuring compliance with AML regulations, and protecting the company from penalties. It suits an analyst who can sort legitimate from illegitimate transactions and work with technology to detect and investigate financial risks.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and assess the financial risks posed by a company's operations
• Monitor and regulate high-risk activities
• Communicate with regulators and auditors regularly to explain risk monitoring, control, and prioritization techniques
• Report information that illustrates the organization's overall performance in terms of risk mitigation
• Examine data and solutions to verify all AML regulations are met
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adhere to deadlines
• Understand and demonstrate the importance of financial compliance
• Attention to detail
• Analytical, oral, and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
