About This Role
An Animator will bring games to life by creating eye-catching visual effects and animations for slot machines. This role involves working with a team of talented artists and animators to create animations that enhance the slot player's experience.
Responsibilities
- Create art/animation that tells a story with meaning through movement
- Work closely with the Art Director and the team to conceptualize, storyboard, prototype, and ultimately create high-quality final game art/animations in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide creative solutions to artistic and technical problems
- Support engineering development by updating and modifying artwork to meet technical requirements
- Create and animate unique emotive characters and immersive worlds
- Communicate game direction through storyboards and animatics
- Work quickly and efficiently as part of a team, take direction, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in 2D/3D animation and/or motion graphic design
- Proficiency in industry standard 3D packages (Maya, Blender, 3DMax)
- Proficient in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop
- Adaptable to AI workflows
- Strong sense of design, motion, and timing
- Strong sense of storyboarding for 2D/3D animation
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Ability to receive art direction and provide multiple design solutions
- Ability to adapt to new technologies
- Enjoy working in a creative environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
Nice to have:
- Gaming industry experience
- Proficiency in compositing and rotoscoping
- Familiarity with Unity
- Familiarity with shaders and shader creation/coding

- Physical requirements: regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, use hands, operate a computer, and have specific vision abilities to include close and distance vision, and ability to adjust focus working with computer and business equipment
