About This Role
This role involves delivering a complete, high-performance front-end application using the Angular framework. It suits a developer who can write clean, tested code, coordinate with designers and back-end developers, and build reusable components for complex single-page applications.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a complete front-end application
- Ensure high performance of the application on mobile and desktop
- Write tested, idiomatic, and documented Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS in Angular Framework
- Coordinate the workflow between the graphic designer, the HTML coder, and yourself
- Cooperate with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API
- Communicate with external web services
- Build composable, reusable components for our complex SPA
- Create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
- Ensure a clear dependency chain, with regards to the app logic as well as the file system
- Thoroughly understand the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system
- Validate user actions on the client side and provide responsive feedback
- Write non-blocking code, and resort to advanced techniques such as multi-threading, when needed
- Create custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of Angular
- Develop web applications with browser performance
Requirements
- Proficiency with Typescript, Angular 2/3/4/5, HTML, and CSS
- In-depth experience with the Angular (2+) framework
- Experience with UX in a data-driven application
- Familiarity with CSS pre-processors (SCSS preferred)
- WebSocket and service worker experience
