About This Role
Developing a next-generation Data Governance Tool within an international banking environment is the core of this role. The project involves building a web platform to centralize operational tools and monitor the timeliness, accuracy, completeness, and integrity of risk data. This position focuses primarily on frontend development, creating interactive, data-intensive interfaces, with opportunities to contribute to Python backend services, data pipelines, and cloud deployment processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable and efficient Angular components and features
- Build interactive, data-intensive user interfaces, including data grids, dashboards, charts, and dependency graphs
- Develop and maintain web applications using Angular and TypeScript
- Translate operational and business requirements into clear, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces
- Contribute to the evolution of a shared design system and component library
- Work with backend developers to shape APIs and integrate data into the platform
- Understand data ingestion, modeling, and quality validation processes
- Rapidly prototype solutions to validate new concepts and technical approaches
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and application issues
- Ensure application performance, quality, responsiveness, and maintainability
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests, and participate in code reviews
- Maintain clean, well-structured, and documented code
- Deliver incremental improvements in line with evolving business requirements
- Investigate and resolve incidents in production environments
- Collaborate with backend developers, users, and other stakeholders to solve problems and remove blockers
- Work within an Agile at scale environment, collaborating with international teams
Requirements
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience developing web applications with Angular and TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of modern Angular, including standalone components, signals, built-in control flow, reactive forms, and RxJS
- Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience developing data-intensive interfaces using data grids such as AG Grid, charting libraries such as ECharts, and graph or network visualization tools
- Good understanding of UX principles and interface design
- Ability to write clean, readable, and well-tested code, with experience in tools such as Vitest or Jest
- Familiarity with Git, code reviews, CI pipelines, linting, and code formatting tools
- Understanding of scalable frontend application architecture and design principles
