Position Summary
Montefiore Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a dedicated and clinically skilled Anesthesiologist to provide Anesthesia services at St. John’s Riverside Hospital at both the Andrus and the Dobbs Ferry locations. The Anesthesiologist will support a full range of services in OR and non-OR procedural areas, as well as Obstetric Anesthesia. The role includes day shift as well as both in-house call and beeper call to ensure 24/7 coverage.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Provide high-quality Anesthesia services for a broad spectrum of surgical specialties.
- Deliver Anesthesia in non-operating room locations such as endoscopy.
- Provide comprehensive Obstetric Anesthesia coverage, including labor analgesia and C-sections.
- Conduct pre-op evaluations and manage intraoperative and postoperative care.
- Participate in emergency airway management, rapid responses, and code team duties.
- Participate in the in-house call and beeper call rotation for immediate hospital coverage.
- Provider coverage solo and via anesthesia care team model. CRNA supervision of up to 3-4 rooms
Qualifications
- MD or DO; completion of Anesthesia Residency.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
- NYS Medical License.
- Strong communication and clinical skills; OB experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Total potential compensation in excess of $700k
- Base salary of $480,000-$510,000 commensurate with experience
- Additional call pay up to or above $80,000 depending on volume of call taken
- Sign on & retention bonuses totaling $100k
- Up to $24k in productivity bonuses.
- LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision and a 403(b) are also offered.
