Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
- Integrate external APIs and data sources into Android applications
- Ensure application performance, quality, stability, and responsiveness across supported devices
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks
- Write readable, maintainable, and well-organized code in line with team standards
- Support testing, debugging, and ongoing improvements throughout the mobile development lifecycle
- Use version control and follow established development workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Approximately 2-3 years of professional experience in Android development
- Good knowledge of the Android SDK and familiarity with different Android versions and screen sizes
- Proficiency in Java
- Familiarity with Kotlin
- Hands-on experience with Retrofit or a similar library for network communication
- Knowledge of Room Database for local data persistence
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational database fundamentals
- Experience creating UI layouts using XML and Jetpack Compose
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating Android applications with back-end services
- Understanding of the end-to-end mobile application development lifecycle
- Experience with Git or another version control system
- Understanding of Android design principles and interface guidelines
- Knowledge of offline data storage, threading, and basic performance optimization
