About the role

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced
Chemist II
to support analytical laboratory operations within a regulated research environment. The ideal candidate will perform laboratory testing using advanced analytical instrumentation, generate high-quality scientific data, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent documentation practices, and the ability to effectively communicate scientific findings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute laboratory experiments using established procedures and scientific methodologies.
• Operate and maintain analytical instruments including
HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, Mass Spectrometry, and ICP.
• Generate accurate, reliable, and reproducible analytical data while maintaining complete documentation.
• Interpret experimental results and provide technical analysis to support laboratory objectives.
• Develop and optimize protocols for complex analytical testing and experimental procedures.
• Ensure all laboratory activities comply with
GMP,
GLP,
and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a safe laboratory environment while following established quality and safety standards.
• Utilize laboratory software, chromatography data systems, spreadsheets, and word processing applications.
• Prepare technical reports and present scientific findings to cross-functional teams and larger audiences.
• Collaborate with scientists and laboratory personnel to achieve project milestones and deliverables.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in
Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Medical Technology,
or a related scientific discipline with at least
5 years
of laboratory experience, or a Master's degree with at least
2 years
of laboratory experience.
• Hands-on experience with analytical instruments including
HPLC, GC, LC/MS, UV/Vis, ICP,
or similar laboratory equipment.
• Experience using chromatography data systems such as
Empower, OpenLab, Chromeleon,
or comparable software.
• Strong understanding of
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
and
Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Excellent laboratory documentation and technical writing skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, data interpretation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present scientific findings.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working within the pharmaceutical or regulated life sciences industry.
• Research experience supported by scientific presentations or publications.
• Experience developing or optimizing analytical methods and laboratory protocols.
