We are currently looking for an Analysis Engineer – Coating, Adhesives & Sealants to join a highly specialized Surface Treatment team focused on material analysis, testing, validation, and quality assurance within advanced coating and surface treatment technologies.
About the Assignment
As part of a Surface Treatment Centre, you will contribute to the analysis and verification of materials and processes related to coatings, corrosion protection, adhesives, sealants, and surface treatment technologies.
Working within the Coating, Adhesives & Sealants team, you will be responsible for planning, performing, and reporting analyses and tests on various metal and plastic substrates, coating systems, and surface treatment materials. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with global stakeholders while developing expertise in advanced laboratory testing, quality analysis, and material verification.
Main Responsibilities
As an Analysis Engineer, you will:
- Plan, perform, and document laboratory analyses and testing activities.
- Evaluate coating systems, adhesives, sealants, and surface treatment materials.
- Conduct testing on metal and plastic substrates.
- Analyze results and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
- Support quality assurance and verification activities related to surface treatment materials.
- Collaborate with internal customers and engineering teams globally.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods and analysis techniques.
- Support production organizations with investigations and analyses when required.
- Work with advanced laboratory instruments and testing equipment.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Chemistry, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience within surface treatment technologies.
- Experience working in a laboratory or testing environment.
- Good understanding of coatings, corrosion protection, adhesives, sealants, or related material technologies.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
