As an American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter with CAL FIRE, you'll play a vital role in fostering an inclusive and accessible workplace for deaf and hard-of-hearing employees. In this position, you'll provide interpreting services in a variety of settings including meetings, training sessions, conferences, departmental operations, and one-on-one interactions—helping ensure effective communication and meaningful participation across the organization. Whether interpreting in person, virtually, or by phone, your work will directly support collaboration, professional development, and workplace success.
