Airport Representative

About This Role

This role is for an Airport Representative to join the Rooms team at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore. The core responsibility is to ensure all hotel guests with transportation arrangements and flight details receive attentive assistance at the airport, both upon arrival and departure. The position suits a flexible and proactive individual who can act as the hotel's ambassador at Changi Airport.

Responsibilities

• Excel in delivering Legendary Quality Experience to all guests
• Support overall rooms operations by providing a warm welcome and fond farewell to all hotel guests
• Review arrival/departure manifests and ensure relevant guest preferences and needs are met
• Be present at all scheduled flight landings and assist incoming guests with baggage clearance and direct guests to transport facilities
• Stand by at the arrival/departure terminal for every flight where a hotel guest is scheduled to depart or arrive from
• Maintain a good relationship with airline personnel, immigration and customs officers under the guidance of the Manager
• Show guests only to the recommended taxi or limousine if pickup is not arranged by the hotel
• Maintain detailed knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the hotel and Changi Airport
• Act as a link for guests with all other areas of the hotel prior to arrival and during departure at the airport
• Promptly answer any guest inquiries and communicate with respective departments when necessary
• Address any security incidents and complaints to the Concierge Manager and react proactively when suitable and appropriate

Requirements

• Flexible and has a can-do attitude
• Quick thinker and able to accommodate last minute requests and changes
• Warm and able to communicate well with guests in English
• Willing to work on rotation shifts, weekends, and public holidays
