Airport Greeter

About This Role

This on-call Airport Greeter position involves welcoming and assisting guests of Kiawah Island Golf Resort and The Sanctuary Hotel group upon their arrival at Charleston International Airport and local private airports. The role requires confirming drivers and vehicles, assisting with luggage, and escorting guests to their vehicles in the charter lane. Availability on weekdays and weekends is essential.

Responsibilities

• Communicate proactively, cooperatively, and appropriately with other hotel and resort departments regarding guests’ needs and preferences
• Maintain discretion and security for the resort and guests
• Comply with procedures and requirements established in the Transportation Manual
• Be an ambassador to Kiawah Island Golf Resort at all times, in and outside of the workplace
• Focus attention on details and be able to organize, prioritize, and follow up, if needed
• Take initiative and work efficiently within any given period of time, unsupervised
• Work flexible hours and go an extra mile
• Be creative, innovative and strive for continuous improvement
• All other duties, as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to handle confidential information
• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
• Maintain discretion and security for the resort and guests
• Be an ambassador to Kiawah Island Golf Resort at all times, in and outside of the workplace
• Ability to take initiative and work efficiently within any given period of time, unsupervised
• Be creative, innovative and strive for continuous improvement
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds across short-medium distance
• Must be able to stand for the entirety of a shift while reaching, bending, and stooping as needed
• Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements

• Schedule: on-call, requiring availability on weekdays and weekends
