About This Role
Owning the air product journey from shopping to post-booking service is the core of this product role. It makes air travel reliable and easy for partners to use at scale, and suits a product manager who understands both air travel operations and digital products. You will turn partner and operations needs into product priorities and work closely with technology and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the air product vision, roadmap and backlog across search, pricing, booking, ticketing and post-booking servicing
- Map agent and operations workflows for exchanges, refunds, cancellations, ancillaries and schedule changes; identify friction, failure points and opportunities to automate
- Translate business, partner and user needs into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and measurable release outcomes
- Work with engineering, design and QA on airline, GDS, NDC and other API integrations, including content quality, availability, fare rules, booking status and error handling
- Partner with air operations to define exception queues, service controls, escalation paths and self-service capabilities that reduce manual effort while protecting service quality
- Prioritise delivery with commercial, finance, customer support and supplier teams; communicate trade-offs, dependencies and release plans clearly
- Use research, operational feedback and product data to diagnose issues, validate improvements and refine the roadmap
- Support launches with clear documentation, internal enablement and partner communication, then monitor adoption and resolve early issues
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant product management or product operations experience, including hands-on experience with air travel products and workflows
- Strong understanding of air booking and servicing, including PNRs, fare rules, ticket issuance, exchanges, refunds, cancellations, ancillaries and disruption handling
- Experience with one or more GDS platforms and familiarity with airline direct-connect or NDC concepts; hands-on API or travel technology experience is an advantage
- A track record of taking ambiguous needs from discovery through prioritisation, delivery, launch and iteration
- Comfort working with product analytics and operational measures; ability to use dashboards and structured data to explain problems and evaluate results
- Clear written and verbal communication, sound judgement on trade-offs, and the ability to collaborate across technical, commercial and operations teams
- Experience in B2B travel distribution, an OTA, a TMC, an airline, or travel technology is preferred
