Aircraft Mechanic

About This Role

This safety-sensitive position involves performing maintenance on large commercial aircraft, ensuring all work is done according to FAA-approved technical data and company quality standards. The role suits a detail-oriented individual with strong mechanical aptitude who can work effectively in a hangar and ramp environment.

Responsibilities

• Review assigned work, obtain tools and necessary parts, and complete jobs in a timely manner following applicable manuals without sacrificing quality or safety
• Ensure all routine, non-routine, and customer request work cards are correctly completed and properly signed off
• Verify calibrated tooling used is current and properly noted on paperwork
• Ensure employee safety by following company written policies regarding environmental health and safety
• Perform all work assigned in accordance with approved or accepted FAA data
• Maintain the premises in a clean and organized manner
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or other management personnel

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 0-3 years of experience
• Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check, verification of credentials, and a urinary pre-employment test for drugs as per DOT regulations
• Must be flexible to work any shift
• Have mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools safely
