Aircraft Mechanic

About This Role

This role involves performing maintenance and repairs on a fleet of Beechcraft King Air aircraft, ensuring safe and efficient operations. It suits skilled and dedicated aviation mechanics committed to excellence in aircraft maintenance within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks and inspections on various aircraft models in the fleet
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and avionic issues to ensure safe and efficient aircraft operations
• Adhere to company and regulatory procedures for maintenance, documentation, and safety
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete work orders in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Continuously update skills and knowledge through training and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificates (A&P)
• Exercised A&P for 6 months within the last 24 months, or has a letter from the FAA waiving that requirement (14 CFR 65.83)
• Capability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Proficiency with standard computer software (email, messenger applications, etc.)
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to pass a Criminal Background Test for Airport Badging
• Valid Driver's License
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Nice to have:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Office
• Prior experience in general aviation maintenance
• Inspector Authorization (IA)
• Experience with 135 maintenance operations
• Familiarity with aircraft currently in the fleet
