About the role
We are seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1 or B2) for our line maintenance station at Los Angeles . You will perform and certify scheduled line maintenance, troubleshooting, and defect rectification on our Airbus A380 fleet to ensure safe, reliable departures
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Certification: Perform line inspections, transit checks,under applicable regulatory frameworks (FAA / EASA Part-145).
- Defect Rectification: Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems ( B1 ) or electrical, avionics, and autoflight systems ( B2 ) on the A380.
- AOG Support: Respond rapidly to technical delays and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations at LAX to maintain flight schedule integrity.
- Documentation: Ensure accurate logbook entries, maintenance tracking, and compliance with strict safety and FAA/company standards.
Key Requirements
- Licensing: Valid FAA A&P License and/or EASA Part-66 B1 or B2 License .
- Type Rating: Current endorsement for the Airbus A380 (Engine variant specific to operation) .
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of commercial line maintenance experience, with recent hands-on experience on widebody aircraft and the A380.
- Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Schedule: Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
