AI/Data Scientist (Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Large Language Models, Reinforcement Learning, etc.) - Digital Intelligence R&D Department Development 2G
This role involves creating new methods in AI and data science, evaluating new industry techniques, and applying them to the company's product value chain. You will also provide technical support and project management for AI and data science applications within the group's businesses. This position suits an experienced R&D professional who can drive innovation and create new customer value in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Propose and promote research and development for creating new methods in AI/data science (machine learning, deep learning, large language models, reinforcement learning, etc.), evaluating and utilizing newly proposed industry methods, and verifying their application to all value chains of the company's products
Propose, promote, and project manage technical support for business divisions in applying and verifying AI/data science to improve operations and expand business for the company's group businesses
Conduct basic research in analysis technologies such as machine learning, deep learning, mathematical analysis, statistical analysis, and reinforcement learning (advancement and creation of new methods)
Improve business processes using generative AI (large language models)
Define and analyze measures for phenomena without quantitative scales, such as psychological safety and autonomic nervous system health
Analyze optimal operation and improve operating rates for power plants, environmental plants, and transportation systems
Analyze customer trends, market forecasts, and order/sales forecasts
Requirements
Development experience in AI/data science technologies (machine learning, deep learning, large language models, reinforcement learning, etc.), related technologies (industrial engineering, mathematics, science, etc.), and company product technologies (mechanical, electrical/electronic, physics, etc.)
Experience in PoC (Proof of Concept) and system development utilizing AI/data science technology
Experience as a development leader or project manager
Experience in research and development of new technologies (development of new algorithms, paper presentations, joint research, etc.)
University graduate or higher
Nice to have:
TOEIC score of 600 or higher
