About This Role
This AI Film Editor role is for creative and enthusiastic freshers from a Visual Communication background who are eager to explore AI-powered filmmaking and digital content creation. It involves combining creativity with artificial intelligence to edit and enhance video content.
Responsibilities
- Edit and enhance AI-generated video content using tools such as Runway ML, Pika Labs, Kaiber, Sora, and similar platforms
- Incorporate transitions, background music, sound effects, and creative elements to enhance storytelling
- Ensure visual quality and consistency with project briefs and brand guidelines
- Assist with colour grading, sound design, rendering, and final video editing
- Prepare video deliverables for social media, digital platforms, and internal screenings
- Organise and maintain digital assets and project files
- Explore and work with AI-powered video generation and editing tools
- Assist in developing reusable templates for teasers, short-form videos, and explainers
- Contribute ideas to improve creative workflows and production efficiency
- Review videos for visual consistency, resolution, frame rate, and audio quality
- Collaborate with filmmakers, designers, and creative teams
- Document workflows and assist in testing new AI tools and technologies
Requirements
- Freshers with a degree in Visual Communication (VisCom) are preferred
- Strong interest in filmmaking, video editing, animation, and digital storytelling
- A creative mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn emerging technologies
- Academic projects, personal projects, or a portfolio/showreel demonstrating creative abilities are welcome
Nice to have:
- Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve
- Familiarity with AI video generation tools
