About The Role We are looking for an AI Consultant to help enterprise clients identify, design, and implement practical applications of generative AI and emerging AI technologies.

This role is ideal for an experienced consultant, AI business professional, or project lead who can understand complex business challenges, translate them into AI opportunities, and work closely with technical teams to deliver solutions.

You will be involved across the full project lifecycle - from client discovery and solution proposal through requirements definition, PoC, implementation, and effectiveness evaluation.

What You'll Do Client Consulting

• Interview clients to understand business challenges, workflows, and requirements.
• Analyze and visualize business processes to identify AI opportunities.
• Design and propose AI-powered solutions, particularly using generative AI.
• Define requirements, project scope, and implementation approaches.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, estimates, and client-facing documentation.
• Lead discussions and alignment with business and technical stakeholders.

Project Delivery

• Manage project schedules, progress, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate closely with engineering and AI/ML teams.
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical requirements.
• Prepare project status reports and stakeholder presentations.
• Drive projects from initial proposal through implementation and evaluation.

AI / PoC

• Identify practical applications for generative AI, LLMs, and AI agents.
• Design, execute, and evaluate Proofs of Concept.
• Assess technical feasibility and potential business impact.
• Use data to support recommendations and decision-making.
• Keep up to date with rapidly evolving AI technologies.

Product & Business Improvement

• Gather customer and business-team feedback.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing AI products and solutions.
• Translate customer needs into product improvement proposals.
• Develop reusable frameworks and tools for business-process analysis and client discovery.

Requirements Must Have

• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML project planning, requirements definition, consulting, or a closely related field.
• Ability to identify business challenges and propose AI-based solutions.
• Enterprise project management experience.
• Experience designing, executing, and evaluating PoCs.
• Strong stakeholder management experience.
• Experience with business-process analysis and workflow design.
• Experience creating proposals, scope documents, or similar project documentation.
• Data-driven decision-making skills.
• Strong interest in AI and its practical business applications.
• Fluent or near-native Japanese communication skills.
