Ananta Group is looking for AGM/DGM-Wash

Job Description / Responsibility

1. Production & Capacity Management

• Plan, organize, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly laundry production to achieve production and shipment targets.
• Develop and execute capacity plans based on machine availability, manpower, WIP, production requirements, and shipment schedules.
• Ensure maximum utilization of machines, manpower, chemicals, utilities, and production capacity.
• Monitor production schedules closely and take immediate corrective action against any deviation.

2. Wash Development & Process Control

• Coordinate with Merchandising, Technical, and Production teams for first bulk approval, production execution, and delivery as per approved schedules.
• Finalize base wash counters, PP parameters, wash recipes, recipe corrections, final washes, shade bands, and production standards.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for wet and dry processes to ensure consistent bulk execution.
• Monitor critical process parameters including chemical dosage, liquor ratio, temperature, cycle time, machine loading, and process sequence.
• Ensure bulk production strictly follows approved recipes and standards.

3. Quality & Process Improvement

• Conduct process and risk analysis for production and quality issues.
• Lead RCA/CAPA for rejection, shade variation, process failure, rework, and other production issues.
• Reduce rework, rejection, alteration, process loss, and unnecessary machine cycles.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve right-first-time (RFT), productivity, quality, and efficiency.

4. Chemical & Cost Management

• Monitor and optimize chemical consumption without compromising quality.
• Control washing cost through effective management of chemical consumption, water, energy, manpower, machine utilization, rewash, and process losses.
• Work closely with chemical suppliers and technical teams for process optimization and new chemical/process development.

5. Ozone & LID Process Management

• Monitor and control Ozone Treatment and LID processes according to customer requirements and company standards.
• Ensure proper process parameters, safety procedures, quality consistency, and productivity.

6. Shipment & Cross-functional Coordination

• Closely coordinate with Merchandising, Planning, Sewing, Finishing, Quality, IE, and Commercial teams to ensure timely garment availability and shipment.
• Identify potential shipment risks in advance and implement recovery plans.
• Ensure laundry production priorities are aligned with customer shipment requirements.

Educational Requirements

• B.Sc. in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or a relevant discipline from a reputed university.
• Skills Required: Production Management (Washing), Manpower management, Denim Washing (Dry Process)

Additional Requirements

Experience:

• Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience in denim laundry/washing production, preferably at AGM/DGM or equivalent managerial level.

Key Competencies & Requirements:

• Strong technical knowledge of denim wet and dry processes.
• Proven experience in production planning, capacity utilization, manpower management, chemical optimization, cost control, quality management, and shipment execution.
• Strong knowledge of computerized and automated laundry machinery.
• Ability to analyze production bottlenecks and implement effective RCA, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and consistently achieve production, quality, efficiency, cost, and shipment targets.
• Strong understanding of SOPs, safety, PPE, housekeeping, quality standards, compliance, and process control.
