About This Role
An Aesthetic Nurse who can professionally deliver injectables, skin, and body treatments will be the clinical lead for nurse-delivered treatments and a trusted point of contact for clients. This role involves running consultations, performing various aesthetic procedures, and ensuring high standards of care and record-keeping.
Responsibilities
- Run full consultations: medical history, assessment, risks, realistic outcomes, consent and a written treatment plan for face and body
- Deliver injectables like dermal fillers, skin boosters and polynucleotides, within your competence and our protocols
- Deliver skin treatments: IPL, microneedling, medical-grade facials and peels, and skin programmes
- Carry out laser hair removal on face and body, including patch tests, skin typing, settings and course planning
- Deliver radiofrequency and skin-tightening treatments, including Vacuum RF and HIFU where trained
- Deliver body treatments, including EMSculpt NEO and fat freezing: suitability screening, treatment delivery, aftercare and course reviews
- Give clear pre- and post-care, manage reviews, and rebook clients into a sensible maintenance plan
- Keep accurate clinical records, photos, consent and incident notes on our clinic system
- Follow infection control, laser safety, medicines management, stock control and emergency procedures, including anaphylaxis and vascular-occlusion
- Help with treatment online content
Requirements
- Registered General Nurse with current NMBI registration and the right to work in Ireland
- At least 2 years post-registration nursing experience
- Hands-on experience and recognised training in anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers
- Experience in skin treatments such as microneedling, peels or medical facials
- Strong consultation skills, a natural aesthetic eye, and a calm manner with first-time and nervous clients
- High standard of notes, consent and hygiene
- Warm, reliable and independent
Nice to have:
- Aesthetics or dermatology experience is strongly preferred
- Experience with rosacea or pigment-prone skin is an advantage
- Experience with laser hair removal, radiofrequency or body devices is a strong advantage
- Registered Nurse Prescriber
- Phlebotomy certificate and prior IV-drip clinic experience
- Experience building and retaining your own client list
