About the role
Aegis has teamed up with a global innovator in aerospace and energy-control technologies—an organization that engineers sophisticated electromechanical systems for both commercial and defense platforms. We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to guide a high-performing team and steer next‑generation aerospace product development.
What a day might look like
- Kick off the morning aligning a 10–12 person engineering team on sprint goals, risks, and design priorities.
- Midday, review budgets, resource plans, and schedules to keep critical milestones on track.
- Collaborate across global engineering groups and cross-functional partners to unblock dependencies.
- Close the day advancing product lifecycle work and continuous improvement across electromechanical programs.
Your scope
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10–12 engineers.
- Own resource planning, budgeting, and project prioritization.
- Drive product lifecycle activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner closely with global engineering teams and cross-functional departments.
- Shape engineering strategy and accelerate future product development.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 10+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in leadership.
- Background in aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing.
- Strong electromechanical product development experience.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage engineering resources.
- Proficiency in aerospace manufacturing and AS9100 standards.
