About This Role

The Administrator oversees the day-to-day operations of a long-term care facility, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local standards while focusing on enhancing the quality of life for residents. This role provides leadership to all staff, ensuring high-quality care standards are met and fostering a positive environment for both residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations
• Assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to residents at all times
• Provide leadership to all staff to assure that care standards are met
• Function as a team member, team leader, and supervisor to ensure work is accomplished and quality care is delivered
• Support team members and lead the way in celebrating team successes
• Lead the facility management staff and consultants in developing and working from a company/facility business plan that focuses on all aspects of the facility operations
• Meet regularly with the residents of the facility to ensure that they are satisfied with the delivery of care
• Exhibit and promote a positive customer service relationship to both internal as well as external customers

Requirements

• LNHA License must be in good standing with knowledge of the state guidelines / regulations
• 1 to 2 years’ experience as a Nursing Home Administrator
• Proven experience in home care, nursing home administration, or senior care settings is preferred
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols and care plan development is essential
• Familiarity with operations management principles in a healthcare environment is advantageous
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and staff members
• Compassionate approach towards caregiving with a commitment to enhancing the well-being of residents
