We’re looking for an Administrative Coordinator 4 to join our Debt Recovery division!

An Ideal Candidate Should Possess The Following Competencies:

Minimum Qualifications Three years of experience in administrative services.

Experience Substitution: Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties Job Duties and Other Information

In This Role, You Will:

  • Receive and respond to incoming telephone calls and correspondence pertaining to participating agencies.
  • Assist agencies with problems/questions regarding file transfers, correspondence and reimbursements notices for collections of non-tax debt.
  • Assist other State agencies in transferring debt files into the department's case management system.
  • Process daily deposits received and create deposit slips.
  • Generate monthly payment reports and creates payment memos for each of the agencies on monthly basis.

Position-Specific Details: Appointment Type: Probational Appointment, Job Appointment, Promotional or Detail to Special Duty

Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

This posting may be used to fill vacancies in other divisions available within the Louisiana Department of Revenue within 90 days of the closing date.

A Tax and Natural Disaster Clearance will be conducted on all selected applicants to validate the timely submission of tax returns and payments. It is a requirement that all Revenue employees must adhere to all tax laws of the State of Louisiana.

LA R.S.15:587.5, 587.6 and the IRS require the Louisiana Department of Revenue to conduct a criminal history records check of a prospective employee who will access federal tax information to perform job duties. Any applicant who receives and accepts a conditional offer of employment will require a completed criminal history records check prior to his or her first day of work.

LDR- LA. R.S.15:587.5, 587.6 and the IRS require the Louisiana Department of Revenue ("LDR") to conduct a criminal history records check of a prospective employee who will access federal tax information to perform his job duties. If you are given a conditional offer of employment, a criminal history records check will occur before your first day of work. The check requires submission of your fingerprints that will be run through national and state databases to determine if any criminal offenses are connected to your name. Your name will also be run through local databases to check the same. After that, you will be subject to these checks, at minimum, every 5 years during your employment at LDR.
