Job Title: Adjunct Teaching – Political Science – POLI 364: Jurisprudence
Position Start Date: September 1, 2026
Required Degree: Ph.D. or J.D. The required degree must be completed by the start date.

- Extensive practical experience in the listed subject matter going beyond personal interest and study.
- Show commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring. Values belonging, student mentoring, and a collegial culture.
Duties/Expectations: The selected candidate will teach POLI 364: Jurisprudence, a problem-oriented approach to ancient and modern legal philosophies, emphasizing the nature of justice and the relation of law to morality. The selected candidate will be expected to provide classroom instruction, hold office hours, grade papers, and give feedback to students. Not expected to participate in faculty meetings or serve on department committees.
