The University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for the position of Adjunct Instructor. This position will provide instruction to students in the field of Judaic Studies. This is a non-tenure-eligible position for the 2026-2027 Academic Term. The position is within the Arizona Center for Judaic Studies, which is housed within the School of Global Studies in the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences.
Your teaching load may make you eligible for benefits if you work a 0.50 FTE or greater for 90 days or longer. As courses and loads are determined, we will notify employees should they gain benefits eligibility status.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Arizona Center for Judaic Studies at the University of Arizona seeks an adjunct instructor to provide part-time instruction for Judaic Studies major and minor students, and all interested UA students, for the 2026-2027 Academic Term, contingent upon the availability of funding and enrollments.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Instruct undergraduate students in their field of expertise.
Plan class lectures and assignments.
Grade assigned papers and exams.
Hold regular office hours.
Assign grades to students based on their performance in class assignments and exams.
Attend meetings as required.
Administer the Hebrew Program within the Arizona Center for Judaic Studies.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in related field and at least five years of professional experience.
Experience in undergraduate teaching.
