University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Humanities and Social Sciences Applied Language Institute (ALI) For more information about the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, visit: https://shss.umkc.edu/ Job Description Teach English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses in ALI’s intensive English program, Paseo Program, and/or community English program with the possibility of teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP) courses in ALI’s short-term program for visiting international students.
Part-time, non-benefit eligible unranked non tenure track position. Days and hours vary depending on the opportunity. Appointment period is for the semester with consideration for reappointment.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: A Master's degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) or related field.
Preferred Qualifications International, post-secondary, and 2+ years of English language teaching and learning experience is beneficial.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary is commensurate on education, experience, and internal equity.
