Adjunct Assistant Professor

About This Role

This role is for a per diem primary care physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) at the Center for Women's Health at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). The physician will provide primary care as part of an innovative team delivering a full spectrum of care across multiple disciplines, including acupuncture, naturopathic care, mental health, physical therapy, midwifery, obstetrics, gynecology, and related subspecialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide an outstanding level of clinical performance, compliant with appropriate regulations and guidelines (the American Board of Internal or Family Medicine, TJC, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, and all other state, federal, and institutional regulatory guidelines)
• May teach trainees and support staff through assigned lectures, modeling best practices, mentoring trainees, and guiding learning through delegating graduated and focused levels of responsibility

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O.
• Demonstrated competence in research, teaching, patient care or administration or combinations of these activities
• A potential for academic accomplishment
• Board certification or eligibility for specialty board certification, in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
