About the role
Role: An Acute Care Registered Nurse (PRN) provides high-quality, patient-centered care across Med/Surg, Progressive Care, and ICU units.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions during admission and shifts, reporting changes.
- Perform procedures and tasks as ordered by medical providers.
- Document care accurately and timely in medical records.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
- Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum one year of RN experience, preferably in hospital settings.
- Associates Degree in Nursing required; Master’s preferred.
- Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI.
