About the role
Join Sylvan Learning as an ACE it! Teacher and make a difference in students' academic journeys. In this role, you will provide personalized instruction to help students strengthen their skills, build confidence, and achieve their educational goals. You'll work closely with students of various ages, tailoring lessons to meet their individual needs and helping them succeed in a supportive, engaging environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality instruction based on Sylvan ACE it! curriculum.
- A group of 8 students
- Teaching Ace It reading or Math
- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters student confidence and motivation.
Requirements
- Passion for teaching and helping students learn and grow.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs.
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to work in Uvalde, TX and comply with applicable background checks.
