Accounts Receivable

About This Role

Keeping the receivable ledger up to date and ensuring collections occur within agreed trading terms is the core of this role. The Accounts Receivable professional will maintain a clean debtors ledger and work closely with management and peers to deliver outcomes, drawing on previous experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full Accounts Receivable ledger for the NSW dealerships
• Process daily bank statements, reconcile receipts and debtor accounts, and resolve any issues in a timely manner
• Maintain the online Credit Application portal and ensure appropriate credit limits are assigned to each Debtor account
• Manage payment terms to ensure they are within the approved timeframe, place accounts on Stop Credit, and commence collection procedures when required
• Be responsible for all account customers, from providing copies of missing invoices, raising miscellaneous invoices, and collections
• Maintain accurate Receivable balance sheets, including Aged Debtor Reports and identify potential risks before they arise
• Handle cash within the dealership, ensuring all dealership practices are in line with Cash Handling procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience with credit control is essential
• Demonstrated experience within the motor industry or a similar industry will be looked upon favorably
• Ability to work well within a team environment, being happy to pitch in and assist the wider accounts team when required
• Positive can-do attitude with a desire to learn and improve, owning your role and solving any problems that arise
