Accounts Payable Officer

About This Role

An Accounts Payable Officer who is reliable, organised and detail-oriented will join the team at Oliveto Ristorante e Bar. This role involves efficiently managing invoices and supplier payments in a fast-paced hospitality environment, and suits someone who enjoys working with numbers and has a strong eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on discrepancies
• Prepare and process supplier payments in line with payment terms
• Maintain accurate financial records and accounts payable documentation
• Communicate with suppliers regarding invoices, payments and account queries
• Assist with general accounts administration and month-end processes
• Work closely with the management and finance teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Good numerical and problem-solving abilities
• A reliable, proactive and positive attitude
• Good communication and time management skills
• Comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities

Nice to have:

• Previous accounts payable or bookkeeping experience
