Accounts Payable

About This Role

Working in Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for calculating, posting, and verifying financial data to maintain accurate records. This role is for a detail-oriented professional with experience in accounts payable processes within a fast-moving, tech-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Calculate, post business transactions, process invoices, and verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all non-compliant and non-standard processes within the country
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)
• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers
• Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount, and coding per accounting policies and procedures
• Identify and implement AP improvements
• Perform vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, and vendor advances

Requirements

• Graduate in Commerce
• Meaningful work experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Excellent English language skills (verbal and written)
