About This Role

This Accounts Payable role focuses on managing daily and monthly financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting month-end closing activities. The position involves preparing accounting entries, reconciling records, and coordinating with various internal teams to maintain financial integrity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounting entries: Record daily and monthly transactions, such as expenses, outstanding payments, advance payments, rent, and asset purchases or write-offs
• Complete accounting activities at the end of each month to ensure all financial records are updated
• Compare records from different accounting systems and identify and correct any differences
• Calculate and record charges between different branches or companies within the same group
• Work with finance and tax teams in different regions to ensure transactions are recorded correctly
• Provide accurate financial information to the reporting team on time
• Provide documents and explanations to auditors and regulators when required
• Inform your manager about errors, delays, or other problems
• Provide timely and accurate service to other departments
