Accounting Support Specialist

About This Role

Supporting clients as an expert in accounting and platform usage is the core of this role, acting as the primary point of contact for clients who use Pennylane for their accounting and financial management. This position is at the heart of the client experience, helping clients and their accountants leverage Pennylane's full potential for growth.

Responsibilities

• Integrate into the Pennylane Academy and train on the product and team operations
• Learn about the company, its vision, and its various departments
• Identify all stakeholders and collaborate effectively within the team and with different departments
• Respond to accounting-related requests, qualify them with an in-depth understanding of accounting principles, and provide quick and impactful answers
• Gain autonomy and take full charge, ensuring good follow-up of requests until complete resolution of tickets to guarantee user satisfaction
• Manage increasingly complex client requests
• Contribute to the creation and updating of client support materials to develop their autonomy
• Share accounting knowledge and field experience with colleagues
• Advocate for client usage and provide constructive feedback to product teams
• Become a product expert and improve team efficiency by identifying areas for improvement
• Lead projects that are important for personal and professional growth

Requirements

• Accounting qualification (BTS CGO, DCG, BTS assistant de gestion PME-PMI, Master CCA or Bachelor Responsable admin et comptable)
• At least 3 years of experience in an accounting firm (ideally having completed at least three fiscal periods)
• Direct work with management (e.g., internal consulting) is a plus
• Interest in innovative work tools and new technologies
• Autonomy, ability to solve problems independently, and find solutions
• Knowledge of the Pennylane tool is a plus
• Professional level in English
• Strong written communication skills and pedagogical approach to interact with users clearly and professionally
• Ability to understand and respond to client needs, provide excellent service, and maintain good client relationships
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to rapid tool developments
• Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date on product evolutions

Application Process

• Initial meeting with the Talent Acquisition Manager (30 min)
• Second interview and live case study with an Associate Team Lead (1h)
• Final interview with a Team Lead (45 min)
