Accounting Supervisor / Senior Accounting Specialist

About This Role

This role involves overseeing the accounting agenda for assigned clients and leading a small team of accountants. It is suitable for an experienced supervisor or a senior accountant ready to move into people management, with a fast-track option for promotion to supervisor within 6–12 months for mutual satisfaction. You will work in an international environment, interact with clients, and have the opportunity to participate in various innovative projects.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the complete accounting agenda for assigned clients
• Coordinate and lead a team with a focus on employee development and professional growth. Actively participate in creating and implementing individual development plans (for the supervisor role)
• Control accounting operations, statements, and statutory reporting
• Ensure compliance with local legislation
• Control the monthly invoicing process based on manager requirements
• Communicate with clients, resolve escalations, and be responsible for their satisfaction
• Onboard new clients
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support business development
• Be an example for the team and actively work on their satisfaction

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting
• Experience in people management or a strong ambition to move into people management
• Very good knowledge of accounting, taxes, and local standards
• Active knowledge of English (min. B2)
• User knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proactive approach, detail-oriented, and customer service focused
• Experience with accounting software
