Job Summary

We are looking for an Accounting Operations Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions. This role is ideal for candidates with experience managing accounting functions within large-scale Retail organizations**, particularly those with high transaction volumes and multiple business units or stores.**

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting operations, including General Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documents.
• Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of sales, purchases, inventory, and operating expenses.
• Monitor accounting transactions across stores or business units.
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and other regulatory stakeholders.
• Review and improve accounting processes, controls, and workflows.
• Identify accounting risks and implement appropriate controls.
• Manage, coach, and develop the Accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA is preferred.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience with supervisory or managerial exposure.
• Retail industry experience is highly preferred.
• Experience handling high-volume transactions, inventory, sales reconciliation, or multi-location/store accounting is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and accounting standards.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
