Accounting Manager, Housing & Real Estate
Salary: $110,000 – $125,000

Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager, Housing & Real Estate:
- Lead accounting, financial reporting, consolidations, and compliance across housing and real estate entities.
- Oversee audits, tax filings, lender reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Support financial analysis and advisory activities related to development projects, acquisitions, and refinancing.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, reserve tracking, and portfolio performance reporting.
- Serve as the primary financial liaison to third-party property management firms and external stakeholders.
- Supervise finance staff and drive process improvements, reporting standardization, and internal control enhancements.
Qualifications For The Accounting Manager, Housing & Real Estate
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Progressive accounting or finance experience with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong experience with multi-entity financial reporting, audits, consolidations, and GAAP compliance.
- Experience with affordable housing, LIHTC, LPs, LLCs, joint ventures, or nonprofit real estate structures is highly desirable.
